The members of the Village of Waukesha Fire Department proudly serve the community as fire service professionals organized for, and dedicated to the preservation of life and prevention, detection, and suppression of fire for the general welfare of the department and the people of the Village of Waukesha. The Fire Department provides rescue services with a full-time Fire Chief, a Firefighter/EMT/Fire Inspector and 40 paid-on-call personnel.
Mission Statement:
We will, through teamwork, cooperation, collaboration, training, and communication, provide high quality, cost effective fire, EMS and prevention education services in the Village of Waukesha and Waukesha County.
Village of Waukesha Fire Inspections:
The Fire Inspector is required to inspect all buildings and premises, except the interiors of private dwellings, for the purpose of finding conditions liable to cause a fire.
