BULK ITEM SERVICE:
DO NOT PLACE YOUR PROPANE TANKS IN THE GARBAGE OR RECYCLING
This warning includes the green cylinders used for camp stoves, lights, heaters and ice augers they create explosions and fires during the collection process.
The village would like to encourage recycling efforts as it will produce greater savings for the
village. The more each village resident recycles, the lower our cost is at the landfill, and the greater our dividend at year’s end will be.

BULK ITEM SERVICE:
- LRS will provide bulk item pick-up service monthly as designated on the service calendar.
- Email bltownservice@lrsrecycles.com or call 1-608-580-0580 to schedule or ask questions.
- Bulk Items must be called in for scheduling 48 hrs in advance if the item(s) weighs >60lbs, is NOT manageable by one person, includes Freon appliances, tires and/or electronics.
- Residents are allowed up to 5 items per household, per month.
- Tires off the rim will be collected as Bulky Item Service with a limit of 2 automobile size tires per pickup and counted as one of the five allowable items. Limit of 6 tires per household/per year.
- Place item(s) next to your container, so they are visible for the driver.
